Dear colleagues,
after the successfully held 1st Scientific and Professional Meeting on Reptiles "REPTILIA", it is our great honor to invite You to the thematically expanded 2nd International Scientific and Professional Meeting on Reptiles and Exotic Animals "REPTILIA" that will be held on May 29th – 30th, 2020 in organization by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb and sponsored by the Zagreb Zoo. During the conference, visiting of our traditional exhibition of reptiles, amphibians, fish and insects "Reptilomanija+", organized by students of the USVM “Equus”, and a trip to the Zagreb Zoo under the expert guidance of their professional staff will be organized.
As exotic animals become more and more present as patients in veterinary practice, there is a growing need to know and understand all aspects of their life, their biology, morphology, physiology, nutrition, pathology and treatment of diseases. Knowledge of the above could contribute to a better understanding of those animals and exchange of experience in veterinary medicine, but also to the education of future doctors of veterinary medicine. Therefore, the goal of this symposium is to bring together scientists and experts from the biomedical and natural sciences and to provide as much information as possible on reptiles, but also on other exotic animals such as insects, amphibians, fish, birds and mammals.

Manuscript submission deadline: April 10, 2020.
Accepted manuscripts will be published in the Proceedings of Scientific and Professional Meeting on Reptiles and Exotic Animals. Submitted manuscripts must not have been published or presented elsewhere. All manuscripts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and corresponding authors will be informed by April 28, 2020 if their submission has been accepted.
Submission of manuscripts: The full manuscripts should be submitted by e-mail as an attached Microsoft document (.doc or .docx) file to the e-mail address: reptilia@vef.hr until April 10, 2020.
Guidelines for authors: Full manuscripts can be written in Croatian or English. Manuscripts written in Croatian should provide at the end of the manuscript the Title, Abstract and Key words in English. Powerpoint presentations for oral presentations should be written in English. For poster presentations, just Title, Abstracts and Key words can be submitted. Posters should not exceed 80 cm in width and 100 cm in length.
Full manuscripts should be written on 3 to 5 pages and contain: Title, Authors, Abstract, Key words, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, Discussion and References. The manuscript can also be in a form of a review.
