INVITATION
Dear colleagues,
after the successfully held 1st and 2nd "REPTILIA", it is our great honor to invite You to the 3rd International Scientific and Professional Meeting on Reptiles and Exotic Animals "REPTILIA" that will be held on May 24th – 25th, 2024 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb, Croatia and under auspices by the Zagreb Zoo.
At the same time, the Association of Veterinary Medicine Students "EQUUS" will be organizing "REPTILOMANIJA+", our traditional exhibition of reptiles, amphibians, spiders and other exotic animals at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
As exotic species are becoming nowadays more and more present in veterinary practice, there is a growing need to know and understand all aspects of their life, their biology, morphology, physiology, nutrition, pathology, treatment of diseases. Knowledge of the above could contribute to a better understanding of those animals and exchange of experience in veterinary medicine, but also to the education of future doctors of veterinary medicine. Therefore, the purpose of this meeting is to bring together scientists and experts from the biomedical, natural and other sciences and to provide as much information as possible on reptiles, but also on other exotic animals such as insects, amphibians, fish, shellfish, birds and mammals.
